Manitou Springs Colorado Events keep getting more creative

These Manitou Springs Colorado Events keep on going.  Remember last October the town lined the streets with amazing chairs - over 700 (three from the B&B).  Opening this Friday and through the month of March you can experience this community art exhibit, celebrating the Chair Project, and featuring art in all media relating to the project or just chairs.  This will take place at the Business of Arts Center and the Manitou Springs Heritage Center only 2 blocks from the Two Sisters Inn.

Pygmy Cypress not one of the Pikes Peak Attractions, but bristlecone pines and the Two Sisters Inn are

Pygmy Cypress
Bristlecone pines are Pikes Peak Attractions, but not pygmy cypress.  We are fascinated by the ancient bristlecone pines on Pikes Peak and in the Garden of the Gods, and were equally amazed at the ancient soils and dwarf slow growing plants in the pygmy forest off the Mendocino, CA coast.  So much to discover and so little time!
