Do you know how far a fruitcake can be launched? It was a picture perfect day for the 16th Annual Fruitcake Toss in Manitou Springs, CO. There were many ingenious launching devices--catapaults, trebuchets, and bows and arrows. The freestyle winner threw his fruitcake 371 feet! What a beautiful day to be outdoors...By the way, the answer to the question is over 1400 feet with a pneumatic launcher!
