Bristlecone pines are Pikes Peak Attractions, but not pygmy cypress.  We are fascinated by the ancient bristlecone pines on Pikes Peak and in the Garden of the Gods, and were equally amazed at the ancient soils and dwarf slow growing plants in the pygmy forest off the Mendocino, CA coast.  So much to discover and so little time!
